‘I’ll Fly To Your Open Arms’ is a terrific, early 70s soul song written by George Rountree and Jack Ashford.
Jack eventually cut it himself for his “Hotel Sheets” LP in 1977. Prior to that he recorded two versions, one by the Magnificents, which we put out as a 100 Club anniversary single in 2017, and this version by the Family Brick, which features both male and female vocalists and has never been on a single until now. When Jack recorded the song for his own LP he added some sensual backing vocals, whereas this take is more mainstream soul.
